Linda R. Koerber
President
A graduate of Project L.E.A.D., Linda Koerber was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She is from a family of 13 brothers and sisters. She has five children and 10 grandchildren. Linda has always been active in the community in which she grew up. At age 15 she was involved in The Central District Youth Club. She was involved in the sit-in at the Mayor’s office for open housing. Linda participated in the Black Prisoners Forum Unlimited, and was elected to the Central Area School Council, as well as participated in the Mayor’s Commission on Children and Youth. Linda recently graduated from Project Lead. Linda graduated from Central Area Community College with an AA, a BA from The University of Washington, and an M.Ed. from City University. Linda is now retired after 30 years as a teacher and counselor with The Seattle Public School District.
Kendra Roberson
Vice-President
Kendra Roberson was born and raised in Seattle. She left the area to earn her BA in Psychology form Spelman College, a Masters and a Doctorate In Social Work from Boston College and The University of Maryland. She currently has a private psychotherapy practice in Tacoma and teaches part-time at the UW Social Work programs in Seattle and Tacoma.
Constance Hutchinson
Curriculum Developer
Constance Hutchinson was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from Youngstown State University and earned a BS in Corrections. After graduation, she worked in Social Services and later entered the U.S. Army. She later earned a M.Ed. in Counseling from City University and now lives in Seattle working for the Seattle Public Schools as a guidance counselor.
Celeste Denson
Treasurer
A graduate of Project L.E.A.D., Celeste Denson is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Society and Justice. During her undergraduate studies, she worked with Seattle Public Schools and at the King County Juvenile Detention Center. After graduation, she worked as a Case Manager at Central Youth and Family Services and Central Area Motivation Program. Celeste currently works as a Loan Closer at Bank of America.
Lisa Hill
Marketing
Lisa Hill graduated from Seattle University in 1990 and holds a B.A. in Public Administration. After graduation, she worked as an office manager for BDO Seldman, LLP for two years, then for Labor Ready, Inc. (now called TrueBlue, Inc.) for 10 years at the corporate offices in Tacoma. In her current role, she is Executive Assistant to Carol Criner (President & COO) of Wireless Advocates (a third party provider of cell phones) located in Downtown Seattle.
